Koko Mountain

My trek up Koko mountain was torture and and a bit scary. I'm afraid of heights but, thanks to my brother, I was able to muster up the strength and courage to climb up the mountain. The climb was steep and the trail had no handles to hold on to. It was extremely hot, and I carried only my camera as I thought that carrying a bottle of water in addition to the camera would get in the way: doesn't make sense right. I stopped several times on the way up to take a break. It was an extremely exhausting climb. It was a big relief when I made it to the top. The cool breeze and spectacular views made it well worth it. I also gained a sense of accomplishment. I took a couple of pictures of the landscape. A couple of which I posted below. The climb down was easier than climbing up but it was still a workout. My legs were already tired, and I had to stop a couple of times to rest my legs. I would definitely recommend Koko mountain as destination to visit when in Hawaii.

  1. You are a brave man Ade! The effort was worth it with such beautiful views from the top.
I trust everything is OK for you?

  2. Everything is good. Yes the top was definitely worth the climb.
